How does the solarium work?

Every part of the Sirocco is built around one goal: getting therapeutic heat exactly where your horse needs it. The curved frame is calculated to focus infrared straight down the center of the back, so your horse is fully submersed in warm, healing light rather than just picking up surface heat from one angle.

Six dual-action fans give you fast drying after a wash or quick cooling after exercise, while two independent dimmers let you control heat and brightness across the inner and outer light banks so you can tailor each session to what your horse actually needs that day. A built-in 50-minute timer keeps every session consistent and safe, with no guesswork or hovering required.

Yes they are, our biggest solarium weights in at 32kg making it easy work for 2 people to hang in around 15-20 minutes.

Do I have to assemble my solarium?

No, your solarium will come fully assembled and is fitted with a standard 13 Amp 240V 3pin UK plug.

How high do I hang my solarium?

On average 8ft from the ground to the centre strip of lights for a 16h horse. This needs to be increased by 6inch for a 17h and another 6inch for an 18h.

Does my solarium come with a hanging kit?

Yes, all our solariums are supplied with an 8m chain and hanging kit.
