How does the solarium work?

The Sirocco comes fitted with 6 powerful dual-action fans for SuperFast Drying or Cooling, 2 Dimmers for full control of the heat and brightness on the inner and outer banks of lights, plus a 50 minute timer for easy & safe use.

Set at the correct height the perfectly calculated curve helps give maximum infrared focus straight down the centre of the horses back whilst submersing the animal in warm therapeutic light.

What are the benefits?

It promotes enhanced recovery by improving circulation and oxygen flow, helping to relax muscles and reduce soreness. The gentle warmth aids in relieving stiffness, preventing injuries, and speeding up recovery after exercise. Additionally, it supports skin health by accelerating the natural moulting process and bringing out natural oils for a shiny, healthy coat.

Infrared helps to increase the levels of Vitamin D and can be used for warming and softening your horses muscles before & after riding, just a 10-15 minute session both before and after exercise can help to cut down on muscle strain and also reduce the build up of lactic acid!

Sirocco - has 6 fans, 2 dimmer switches (1 controls middle bank of lights and the other controls the 2 outer banks of lights)

SB3 - no fans, 1 dimmer that controls the middle bank of lights. 2 outer banks of lights are on full power once the solarium is turned on.

Are the solariums easy to hang?

Yes they are, our biggest solarium weights in at 32kg making it easy work for 2 people to hang in around 15-20 minutes.

Do I have to assemble my solarium?

No, your solarium will come fully assembled and is fitted with a standard 13 Amp 240V 3pin UK plug.

How high do I hang my solarium?

On average 8ft from the ground to the centre strip of lights for a 16h horse. This needs to be increased by 6inch for a 17h and another 6inch for an 18h.

Does my solarium come with a hanging kit?

Yes, all our solariums are supplied with an 8m chain and hanging kit.
